Thanks for the clarification. A personal question: a tattoo artist once told me that if I were going to a lot of work done I should stick to one style. No Japanese / American Flash / Cartoon style clashing. What's your opinion and have you seen people with multiple styles?
Personal opinion. full body Japanese traditional is going to look terrible with with other styles in one area. Alot of people into Japanese traditional are going after full body horimono..so if you are then id say it is a bad idea.
If you are heading towards Japanese traditional as a medium piece just keep your arm completely free i guess. I agree with style clashing if its in one area but if you have a complete limb free then go ahead.
